Helped shape the vision and experience of Socyal — a workplace platform built to change how teams grow and communicate. In a world where recognition often gets lost in busy routines, Socyal aimed to turn appreciation into action. The app empowered employees to give feedback, celebrate wins, and track growth through meaningful insights, all within a system designed for scale and long-term adoption.
Socyal was a bold idea born inside a larger company — a startup with the mission to fix one of the most human issues in corporate life: people work hard together but rarely feel seen. HR departments wanted a tool that could spark a culture of appreciation and growth.
I joined as UX designer from the very beginning, working side by side with another UX designer in a full product team. Together we turned early concepts into tangible experiences — exploring ideas, prototyping, validating with managers and the CEO, and refining until every flow made sense.
As features multiplied, we saw the need for structure. That’s when I led the push for a design system — our secret weapon for speed, consistency, and creativity. It grew fast, supporting everything from recognition flows to team analytics and feedback loops.
Even though Socyal never launched publicly, it shaped how the company approaches design. We built scalable foundations, improved cross-team collaboration, and proved the power of structure in rapid growth phases.
